Parksville has always been a very desirable destination for area residents and visitors alike. Prior to 2000 it had lacked only one thing - a central gathering place. The Community & Conference Centre was designed and built to attract audiences to sporting events, club gatherings, cultural events, concerts, conventions and trade shows year-round. All of these activities had no adequate facilities within the Parksville core until our inaugural year in 2000. A Board of Directors governs the Centre to ensure that it continues to enhance economic activity, community participation, and public events.
